Welcome to the blog of the Wednesday Morning JOY Bible Study!
JOY stands for Jesus, Others, and You. JOY is a Bible study for women that meets at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our format on Wednesday mornings includes a small group time to discuss our lessons, have prayer, and fellowship with other women, and then a large group time with a teaching leader. Our emphasis is on how to apply God’s truths to our lives on a daily basis. This study format provides a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages to gather and grow in the Lord together.
This blog will be our forum to publish the information taught by our teaching leader, Debra Jenkins. For our current JOY attendees this blog will give the opportunity to revisit what was taught on Wednesday mornings or to catch-up on a lesson if one was missed. The blog is also a way to share this information with others who are unable to attend the study on Wednesday mornings in Raleigh.
Our prayer is that this blog will be a blessing to all who read it, and that every word will be honoring to our Lord Jesus Christ.
